How 20 women found healing, sisterhood, and purpose through holistic therapy and nervous system care
On December 13, 2025, DIBA Holistic Wellness Care hosted the second edition of Unleash Your Divine Femininity at a serene retreat venue in Buea, Cameroon. This women’s wellness retreat in Cameroon brought together 20 women for deep emotional healing and sisterhood, nervous system regulation, and purpose activation under the theme “The Queen’s Mandate.”
What is the Unleash Your Divine Femininity Project?
The Unleash Your Divine Femininity Project is a holistic women’s wellness retreat created by Nguty Stella Etoh, founder and lead therapist at DIBA Holistic Wellness Care in Buea. The program addresses a critical need: while many wellness services exist, few create dedicated healing spaces where women can process generational trauma, rebuild self-worth, and develop sustainable wellness practices.
As a mental health professional and firstborn daughter, Nguty Stella witnessed how deeply women carry invisible burdens: silent expectations, emotional labor, and generational wounds. Many women have been conditioned to nurture others while ignoring their own emotional, mental, and spiritual needs.
The Unleash Your Divine Femininity movement was birthed to reverse that narrative.
It is both a sanctuary and a mandate to restore dignity and identity, deepen sisterhood through compassion and empathy, transform trauma into purpose, and empower economic resilience rooted in spiritual and emotional wholeness.
Each gathering aims to build a lineage of healed daughters, equipped to extend healing to future generations.
Core Objectives
This holistic therapy program in Buea seeks to:
- Create safe spaces for women to be seen, heard, validated, and understood
- Provide trauma-informed learning and empowerment experiences
- Nurture emotional, mental, spiritual, and relational wellness
- Strengthen leadership capacity rooted in intuition, vulnerability, and self-love
- Birth a community of sisterhood committed to mutual support
- Break cycles of silence, shame, and isolation
- Support economic empowerment through collaboration and community-driven entrepreneurship
This movement weaves together spirituality, mental wellness, emotional healing, and economic empowerment. Every shared experience becomes a seed for sustainable legacy building.
The Journey: From Edition One to The Queen’s Mandate
Edition One: Rise in Love, Light & Leadership (December 14, 2024)
The inaugural retreat brought together 20 women, 5 support staff, and 2 primary facilitators: Mme Blessing Serna, Clinical & Child Psychologist and Executive Director of Nyssa Mental Health Services, and Nguty Stella, Founder/Lead Therapist at DIBA Holistic Wellness Care.
Modules Covered in Edition One
Module 1: Unleashing Divine Femininity through the Power of Self-Love
This foundational session introduced women to divine femininity not as a social expectation, but as an intrinsic identity rooted in worthiness, dignity, and inner strength. Participants explored how childhood messages, cultural conditioning, and sacrifice-driven expectations disconnect women from self-love.
The module guided women to rebuild self-relationship through compassionate awareness: learning to rest without guilt, receive affirmation, and nurture emotional needs without apology. Through reflection and embodiment practices, participants began releasing subconscious narratives of unworthiness and unlovability.
Women reported feeling seen and validated. Several described a shift in how they viewed nurturing themselves, moving from seeing it as indulgence to necessary restoration.
Module 2: Intuition & Inner Wisdom: The Route to Courageous Leadership
This session reframed feminine intuition as a legitimate leadership tool rooted in emotional intelligence, discernment, and embodied knowledge rather than superstition or “women’s instinct.” Women learned how trauma, chronic stress, and self-doubt can silence intuition, and how reclaiming inner knowing strengthens decision-making and courage.
Participants practiced reflective decision exercises and learned to distinguish fear-based choices from aligned intuitive choices.
Participants expressed renewed trust in their inner guidance systems, reporting increased clarity, confidence, and groundedness in leadership roles.
Module 3: Unleashing Inner Femininity through Self-Compassion
This module built on Module 1, moving participants beyond self-love as a feeling into self-compassion as a daily practice. The session explored feminine wounding, internalized harshness, guilt, and perfectionism, and how these manifest somatically as tension, shutdown, or fatigue.
Participants learned how compassionate inner dialogue regulates the nervous system, lowers emotional reactivity, and increases resilience.
Women shared breakthroughs around accepting compliments, reframing vulnerability as strength, and embracing softness without feeling inadequate.
Module 4: Mindful Communication and Embodied Feminine Presence
This closing module helped women translate inner healing into interpersonal relationships. Participants practiced regulating their states before responding, expressing needs without aggression or silence, and communicating boundaries with clarity and dignity.
The session blended mindfulness, somatic grounding, and emotional awareness. Women practiced embodied communication, speaking from a calm, regulated nervous system.
Participants reported reduced emotional reactivity, deeper connection with peers, and increased confidence communicating needs gently yet firmly.
Edition One Outcomes
Participants reported:
- Increased self-awareness and self-appreciation
- Renewed sense of identity and purpose
- Healthier communication practices with themselves and others
- Improved emotional regulation
- Strengthened inner leadership
- Restored confidence and vulnerability
- Inspiration to pursue healing and wholeness
The retreat environment contributed significantly to the healing atmosphere through intentional nature-themed decor and environment, reflective exercises, healing games and collaboration, mindful visualizations and guided meditation, and shared meals with a picnic experience.
Women expressed that they felt safe and valued, built meaningful connections with strangers, accessed memories and emotions they had buried, learned boundary setting and the power of “no,” gained skills for managing stress and triggers, recognized their worth and leadership potential, and desired longer and recurring sessions.
Edition Two: The Queen’s Mandate (December 13, 2025)
This year’s gathering formalized the Queen’s Mandate Sisterhood Community, a growing network of women committed to healing, mentorship, and shared economic empowerment.
Program Details
Format: Hybrid delivery (onsite with virtual participation)
Participants: 20 women
Location: Buea, Cameroon
Facilitators:
- Nguty Stella, DIBA Holistic Wellness Care (Modules 1 & 4)
- Mme Blessing Serna, Nyssa Mental Health Services (Modules 2 & 3, Virtual)
- Mayah Beric, Action Network Foundation (Module 5)
Unlike Edition One, which focused strongly on identity and leadership foundations, Edition Two deepened trauma recovery and nervous system healing while activating purpose and economic empowerment.
Each session was intentionally sequenced to restore internal safety, rebuild self-worth, strengthen relational trust, activate purpose, and establish nervous system wellness and resilience.
The Five Transformative Modules
Session 1: The Woman Who Breathes Again: Emotional Healing and Nervous System Reset
This opening session marked symbolic rebirth, inviting daughters to exhale generational expectations and return home to their bodies.
The session grounded participants in trauma-informed understanding: that emotional pain often lives in the nervous system, shaping reactions, beliefs, and relational patterns. Women explored how silence, duty, and suppression contribute to chronic stress responses like freeze, fawn, and shutdown.
Somatic release activities, breathwork, and grounding practices helped women re-establish embodied safety and recognize stress signals without shame.
Why this session first: Women cannot access purpose, confidence, or connection while dysregulated or emotionally guarded. Safety must precede transformation.
Observed outcomes: Emotional release through tears and shared reflection, noticeable relaxation in posture, breathing, and tone, and increased emotional openness for sessions that followed.
Session 2: Reclaiming Self-Worth: Healing the Woman in the Mirror
After grounding the body, this session addressed internal narratives that diminish confidence. Participants explored comparison trauma, perfectionism, and the inner critic, patterns rooted in early family dynamics and patriarchal conditioning.
Through reflective exercises, mirror-based affirmations, and cognitive reframing, women practiced self-validation and nurturing internal dialogue.
Rationale: Unhealed self-worth wounds sabotage leadership, relationships, entrepreneurship, boundaries, and spiritual identity.
Transformation observed: Women shared moments of being able to receive compliments, forgive themselves, and acknowledge personal growth without discomfort.
Session 3: Sisterhood as Medicine: The Power of Women Who Hold Space for Each Other
This session built relational safety and introduced community healing. Women often carry internalized mistrust of other women due to scarcity, betrayal, or competition narratives. The purpose of this session was to dismantle isolation and model safe sisterhood.
Participants practiced trust-building activities, active listening circles, and compassionate witnessing, learning how co-regulation naturally calms the nervous system and reduces shame.
Why included: Community is essential for sustained healing. Isolation reinforces trauma, sisterhood dissolves it.
Outcome: Women reported feeling safe with strangers, seen and understood, validating the healing power of female connection.
Session 4: Purpose Activation Workshop: Finding Meaning in Your Current Season
Once emotional safety and self-worth were restored, women could reconnect to purpose.
Participants identified their current life season, clarified values, reflected on gifts, explored pain-to-purpose pathways, and discovered how purpose evolves through healing rather than pressure.
Vision journaling, values mapping, and identity exploration exercises helped women articulate authentic intention, not performance or cultural obligation.
Outcome: Renewed motivation, sense of clarity, and desire for legacy building. Women reported feeling called to support others through compassion.
Session 5: Rest for the Woman Who Carries Everything: Stress Release and Nervous System Care
This closing session equipped women with sustainable nervous system care tools to ensure healing continues beyond the retreat.
Participants practiced breathwork, progressive relaxation, emotional boundary setting, scheduling restorative rest, and recognizing burnout signals before collapse.
The session reframed rest as sacred responsibility rather than laziness or weakness.
Outcome: Women left feeling lighter, grounded, and empowered with practical strategies to protect their emotional capacity moving forward.
Why This Sequencing Works
The flow intentionally mirrors the nervous system healing arc:
- Safety first (regulation and emotional release)
- Self-worth and identity reclaimed
- Relational safety and belonging
- Purpose clarity
- Rest and long-term resilience
This structure makes the healing sustainable rather than emotional re-opening without integration.
What Participants Are Saying
Lilam Faith
“Thank you so much Ma’am Stella and Ma’am Blessing. It was an amazing training. Every concept offered valuable insight. My key takeaway is learning to fully integrate my divine feminine roles: nurturing, care, emotional intelligence, empowerment, leadership, and more. And the biggest ‘aha’ moment for me was learning to own my vulnerability.”
Ashley Eposi
“My take-home messages: Learn to say ‘No’ when necessary. As women, we are meant to support and complement our spouse/partner, not become shadows of them. My other breakthrough was learning to receive compliments. Someone commended my growth and I immediately dismissed it, saying, ‘Ha! This me? No.’ Instead of rejecting kindness, I am learning to appreciate and celebrate myself.”
Sirri Emelda
“I really loved the concept of ‘the helper and the helped.’ For so long, ‘helper’ has been used to suggest weakness or silence, yet true help requires strength, expertise, and capacity. I also appreciated learning how to stay healthy while being a helper. We rarely think about refilling ourselves or stepping out for wholeness. I applied this towards the end of 2024 and it has produced so much fruit.”
Bongabi Blandine
“Yesterday’s session was truly amazing. My takeaways: learning to appreciate myself, learning to accept compliments, something I struggle with. Another powerful insight was realizing how God created us with extraordinary abilities within. We must own, cultivate, and walk in them to become who He created us to be.”
Folefac Juliet
“Good evening Ma’am Stella, Ma’am Blessing, and everyone in the forum. I want to appreciate our facilitators for creating space for us to feel alive, whole, and relaxed. The hangout was beautiful. I met new people with different life experiences that helped me learn new ways of managing stress, anger, and adding color to my emotional world.
I learned practical tools, especially mindful communication and vision boarding exercises. The reminder to place visual cues in my room to keep my goals in sight was powerful. The positive energy was contagious. The games, drawing, reflective questions, and healing exercises were amazing.
Suggestions: More hangouts for women to unleash their divine femininity. Longer sessions next time. Encourage women entrepreneurs to showcase their products/services for community support. Special thanks to the spoken-word artist. It reshaped my perspectives and behavior.”
Sirri Emelda (Additional Feedback)
“A very big thank you to Ma’am Stella and Ma’am Blessing for facilitating this training. Here are the highlights for me: The venue was perfect, beautiful, peaceful, healing. The color white was symbolic and calming. The exercises were powerful, especially those that helped us quiet the mind. I accessed memories from years back. The delivery of modules was thoughtful, organized, and passionate. The snacks and food were amazing!
I know onsite sessions require more resources, but many women need this training. Thank you Ma’am Stella for championing this movement!”
Kibong Lilian
“Thank you so much Ma’am Stella for this wonderful program. I enjoyed every part of it. The games were fun but deeply meaningful. The mirror drawing made me reflect on who I want to become. Meeting new women and bonding was refreshing. The organization was excellent, and the decoration was unique. The food was delicious!
Ma’am Blessing’s mental health session helped me so much. I learned not to give harsh responses when dealing with difficult people. Suggestion: better time management next time. Women are suffering silently and don’t know how to seek help. We need to take this message out to them.”
Ashley Eposi (Additional Feedback)
“Good day everyone. Mommy Stella, I really appreciate the program. It was beautiful. I never had a vision board before, but after the training, I reflected, wrote down my vision, took a picture, and set it as my lock screen so I can remain focused. Thank you for the food and for creating such a nourishing environment.”
Anonymous Participant
“Thank you Ma’am Stella and Ma’am Blessing for the wonderful hangout. I learned so much about myself and how to tap into my femininity. The games were simple but eye-opening. The picnic setup was refreshing. Suggestions: It would be helpful to have recordings for online sessions. Longer sessions. More ladies’ hangouts like this.”
